What is the Source of Triple Springs Water?

The 3 spring sources of Triple Springs draw from an aquifer within the bedrock below our facility. Our local bedrock is fractured volcanic rock that form the prominent trap ridges in the Connecticut Valley. Within the fractured volcanic rock of the trap ridges, there are numerous joints. Why Water?

Water is the most popular beverage in the world. Drinking high-quality water is essential for maintaining overall health and well-being for several reasons. Firstly, water is vital for hydration, which supports various bodily functions such as digestion, circulation, and temperature regulation. High-quality water free from contaminants ensures that these processes are carried out efficiently, promoting optimal organ function and cellular health. Additionally, clean water helps flush out toxins from the body, supporting kidney function and detoxification pathways. Moreover, regular intake of pure water contributes to clearer skin, improved cognitive function, and better overall energy levels. Ensuring access to and consumption of high-quality water is crucial for sustaining long-term health and vitality.

How much water should I drink?

Health authorities commonly recommend about 3.7 liters (approximately 1 gallon or 128 ounces) of water per day for men and 2.7 liters (approximately 0.7 gallons or 91 ounces) per day for women. This includes all fluids consumed from beverages and foods.

Men: 3.7 liters/day -- 7 days = 25.9 liters/week (approximately 6.8 gallons/week)

Women: 2.7 liters/day -- 7 days = 18.9 liters/week (approximately 5 gallons/week)

Why drink alkaline water?

Triple Springs water has a 7.8 pH when tested at the Source. The human body is naturally slightly alkaline with a blood pH of around 7.4, which is crucial for maintaining optimal health and function. Therefore, drinking naturally alkaline water is often believed to support this natural pH balance. Advocates suggest that consuming alkaline water, which typically has a pH higher than 7, can help counterbalance acidic foods and beverages in the diet, potentially promoting overall health and vitality. While scientific evidence on the specific health benefits of alkaline water is still emerging, its proponents argue that it may aid in neutralizing acid in the body and supporting hydration and detoxification processes.
